Below is part of what a creighton fan on Valleytalk posted on the message boards... This should hopefully calm down all the Creighton people who thought we were so bad...

From Omaha's daily newspaper article about McKinney:
QUOTE
Every time McKinney touched the ball after that, the Northern Iowa student section derisively chanted "air ball, air ball." As it turned out, McKinney got the last laugh as he scored nine points in the final 61/2 minutes.
McKinney took the ribbing from the Northern Iowa students in typical fashion.
"It's all fun," McKinney said. "This was my last time playing in the state of Iowa, and I enjoy playing in front of crowds like that. They were into the game. I didn't hear anything mean. It was just good fun.
"And it was nice to be able to go over to them after the game and say, 'Thanks, but we came away with the win.' "
Tyler gets it. Doesn't let the ribbing and insults from the fans bother him. He has fun with it. He showed the same attitude when Nebraska students showed up with eye charts earlier this year. He was not insulted. He thought it was funny. IMO, some on the board get too uptight about fans getting on opposing teams and their players. Obviously there are boundaries as to what is "fun" and what is unacceptable. But, the vast majority are just having fun and understand where those boundaries are.

Now we just have to return the favor at their place on the 9th!!
