UNI vs. UMASS Game Thread

willie, you act as though 18-13 is a horrible season. UNI still has gone to the NCAA Tournament 3 of the last 4 years and they had a "name" team in the McLeod Center in UMass for a Championship game. There's nothing going on in the Cedar Valley at 5:00 PM...so there could have been more people there. I understand why Friday and Saturday's attendance was low...but there was nothing going on Sunday afternoon.

sorry, I did not mean bad year to come off so harsh. I just meant disappointinging year.

Did not mean to criticize 18 win panthers. Just saying no post season was a disappointment.

still stand by the rest of my post however.

You're still ignoring the fact that there was way too much sports to be excited about in the Cedar Valley this weekend.

Once Valley play starts, the attendance will rise.

I am not sold on the fact that Ahelegbe is coming back... This is the lineup that I assume we will see for the rest of the year after C Reed comes back...

Coleman basically made that public last night...

If Ahelegbe, and that is a HUGE IF, comes back then Kerwin goes to the bench. He will still play significant minutes either way...

yeah that would be the last thing the panthers would need as we saw last night besides josten, kerwin was the only player able to bring the ball up the court against the press and he wouldn't make as a point guard i think haak is still too young to be put at the point.

I know it was against inferior competition (N. Illinois), but Drew Lundberg looks like he may be our best ball handler. Anyone else have this thought?

I don't think he'll see many minutes this year, but gives me hope in the future when facing full-court man-to-man.
