    Ticket Update

Guys, not to burst any bubbles, but I want to be the first to let you know that this regional has been sold out for some time. The team only gets 350 tickets for players' family, admin, students, and fans. So, my best advice to you is to go on ebay to get some tickets. If you are close enough in the UNI ticket lottery, then you might be able to get tickets...if not, get your tickets on ebay, and then if you get "selected" by UNI, re-sell your ebay tickets to some fellow Panther fans.

Just a heads up! Go Panthers!
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

Here is a copy of the e-mail I got from Leon Costello. Hope it helps!

There are a limited number of tickets allotted to students for the NCAA
Tournament game against Wisconsin on Friday. You will be able to make a
request for tickets Monday morning at 8:30am in the UNI Ticket Office
located in the NW corner of the Dome. It will be first come first serve
with each person able to buy a maximum of 2 tickets. You will need to
fill out a form at the Ticket Office, show your UNI picture ID and have
a form of payment ready. These tickets are _*VERY*_ limited so you will
need to get in line early! You will then be notified on Tuesday if the
Ticket Office was able to fulfill your order.

IMPORTANT: You will not receive tickets on Monday. You are simple
filling out a request for tickets and will be notified on Tuesday if the
Ticket Office was able to fulfill your order!

If you are interested in hotel information in Oklahoma City, the team is
staying at the Embassy Suites, 405-682-6000.

Thank you for a great year! Two in a row!

      Leon

I'm not sure about the hotel situation... we were told the Crowne Plaza, and with talking to one of the bball managers... they said we were staying at the Crowne Plaza. My guess is that the team and the fans are being put into two different hotels.
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

          Team Hotel

The UNI team hotel is the Embassy Suites. Phone number is 405-682-6000. This hotel is very close to being sold out if not sold out already. The Crowne Plaza has rooms available. 405-848-4811.

Crown plaza had rooms left for $129.00/night and you have to stay a min. of 2 nights

For those season ticket holders who submitted their request by March 11th, you will be notified Tuesday afternoon to let you know whether or not they were able to fill your order and if you still want the tickets. They have 350 with the option to purchase 200 more.

Sounds like they are getting calls from Kansas, OK City, and Wisconsin.

In order to get tickets thru OSU for the first round in OKC, one had to have had donated over $15000 this year. There goes the average OSU fan being able to attend and support the Cowboys to Corporate America.

I found this at the Oklahoma State rivals.com board. Ouch!!!

There were people that were able to buy tickets through St. Mary's University, so I don't know if they have tickets for "our" session, but they at least have some available.

Just got the call from the UNI ticket office and it sounds like JC will be in OK City!!!! Sounds like all 350 tickets were sold and not sure if they will be getting any more. They have no idea where the seats are and it sounds like we won't know until we get there. Oh well as long as Im in the house.

Anyway, I'll be getting home from AZ Wednesday night....unpack then repack and head for OK Thursday morning.

When is everyone else going down? I know a few are going on Wednesday.

My dad and I are heading down Friday morning (real early ). We have tickets for the evening session - drop dead seats almost courtside!! We're going to try to find early session tickets outside of the arena. Unfortunately, we must head back on Saturday, so we won't be able to take in the UNI vs. Kansas/Bucknell game on Sunday!!

Can't wait to see the Panther fans represent in Oklahoma City!!
