Nice to see the team getting some nation recognition for this conference run so far.

One of the things I also liked from last night is that Theron Wilson played 38 minutes (9 minutes over his average). Dodie Dunson's minutes were 9 over his average in conference play.

Bradley plays a 9 man rotation, similar to UNI in alot of respect.
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

The cold hard fact is that if we are able to stay in first place, people will notice nationally. Fall to second and we disappear again. All they see is the standings.

It's nice to get some recognition from ESPN but two things stick out:

            1) We were just on ESPN2 in what turned into a blowout, I'm sure there is some scrambling from them to justify putting a "mid-major blow-out" on the deuce instead of some random BCS game

            and

            2) Maybe now they will want to send someone to Cedar Rapids to get a closer look at our team

Do you think they will have someone at the Bradley game Wednesday? You know, just in case they want media passes, you know, just in case. (i for one will not be the first to say it)

I know it doesn't mean squat, but it's nice to see the Panthers back in the discussion. Updated Bracketology has the Panthers in as a new arrival.

Wait...you really think that the columns linked above are at least partially based on ESPN's desire to justify putting a rivalry game that turned out to be a blowout on TV? And you think some of us are cynical and negative.

It was HUGE beating the pants off Drake on ESPN2 for two very different reasons...
                      1. I think it was a negative for the MVC and for Drake for sure. A lot of people now saw them as being horrible.
                      2. I think its a plus for UNI obviously. The panthers really impressed a lot of people nationally. Even with Jonny having a big game, people still noticed that the team is good without a real BIG threat or superstar.
