Carlton Reed has decided not to seek 6th year.

Unfortunate what he's gone through, would have liked to see him play more in the purple and gold. Glad to see he's earned his degree and is pursuing a career.

Best of Luck

Re: Thank you, Carlton

The guy's already had enough bad luck for 3 or 4 people. Hope things go smoother for him post-basketball.

Re: Thank you, Carlton

Sorry to see that but not surprising. Sounds like he's ready to move on with his life. Best wishes Carlton for your future and hope you are successful at whatever you decide to do!! Thanks for being a Panther...............

Re: Thank you, Carlton

Too bad...was thinking he would have been a nice part of the team next year.

Re: Thank you, Carlton

Its just terrible how his career ended up. I was really looking forward to a great season from him this year. Seems like a good guy. He is due for some good luck with the rest of his life.

Side note: I see Jon Montgomery has transfered to Chicago State.

I hope that he's on target to graduate and wish him luck in the career path that he chooses.

Go Panthers!

According to the Register, he graduated in December!!

Re: Thank you, Carlton

He finished classwork in December. He's doing an internship (unrelated to his major) this spring in Colorado.

Re: Thank you, Carlton

That's a shame. I was really looking forward to having him healthy next year and be a real contributor. Also, he would have provided that Cedar Valley connection that may draw more locals in to the McLeod.

Congrats Carlton on turning a new page in your life.

Re: Thank you, Carlton

I dont think he is out in Denver yet because I just seen him last friday but that guy is lucky to get an internship in Denver. Denver is one of the nicest cities that I have ever been too.
