Ben Jacobson selected to NIT All Star Team!!

    Ben Jacobson selected to NIT All Star Team!!

    I couldn't find any updated information but Mac announced at the Men's Spectacular that Ben Jacobson was selected to represent the United States on the NIT All Star Team. He will be in New York for a few weeks practicing at Madison Square Garden before touring over in Europe to play some quality international competition.

    It's great to see credit being given where credit is due. Ben will represent the Panthers well this summer. I hope he is able to improve his professional status as he travels around Europe. Congrats Ben! Go Panthers!

        Benny in Europe

        thanks guys for keeping track of Benny I know that he really appreciates how much you guys care for the team and especially the school. Its great to see that there are people in this state who realize that there are other teams than Iowa and ISU. And from what I heard from him today, Benny is going to be representing the Panthers very well abroad.

                  Jacobson's 117 total points on the tour led the team by a 37-point margin. He also averaged four assists per game and shot 51 percent from the field and 47 percent from the three-point line.

                    As UNI fans...we've been so lucky to be able to watch this kid progress over his first three years with the Panthers!!! Let's hope UNI finds a way to get back to the Dance and send this senior class off the right way!

                    PTTB - I think your sig line says it best! I hope all of the players take that approach each and every game this season.
