Re: Il State/CU
I would hope that isn't the case. If a person just looks at the final score (as many on the selection committee will do, I'm sure) then it looks like CU was over-rated. But, if anyone watched this game they will realize the ISU is basically infallible and CU is just plain off (which I love, BTW). ISU would compete with anyone on a day like today. I really like it because it is tough to play two perfect games in a row...especially on consecutive days. I hope this bodes well for UNI.Originally posted by TheMacHouse View PostCreighton may be pissing that at-large down it's leg right now with a blowout loss. I'm sure they will look for a reason to keep them out and put another BC$ team in.

Re: Il State/CU
I agree that Ill St would of blown out any bubble team the way they played today. The loss that may hurt CU is to Nebraska since Nebraska has played itself onto the bubble so they could get in ahead of CU. Creighton did beat Dayton which should help since they are either in or on the bubble. CU will have at least 2 wins against NCAA teams I would guess (Dayton and UNI/ISU winner) which is something Ill St didn't have last year. They could have more if New Mexico (bubble) or Oral Roberts (2 seed in conf tourny) make the dance.
Hopefully the MVC will get 2 teams in with UNI and CU.

Re: Il State/CU
Earlier in the year, Creighton had a couple games where they played this way.Originally posted by panther2317Illinois State now scares the crap out of me. They looked unreal today against a team that had won 11 in a row.
I've never seen Creighton look that bad and I think Illinois State had a lot to do with that.
Creighton tried to play at the same pace as ISU, where I don't think the Panthers will.
