Pretty neat story about Travis giving away his cutting of the net in Cedar Falls.

Chills anyone? I'm not a big Keeler fan, but he got it right on this one.
      ------------

When Brown came down off the ladder, rather than keep his piece, he gave it to a little kid. Suddenly, the rest of the players started to do the same.

“He’s a big Panthers fan, he’s always at our camps and stuff. He knows it’s a special thing, and he’ll probably keep that for the rest of his life.”

As he recalled that night, Brown held up his hand and opened it.

In his palm was a new strand, this one from the naked rim at the Scottrade Center. Then he offered a grin that could light up the Ozarks.

“This one,” Brown whispered, ”I’m going to keep for the rest of my life, too.”
Winning is more fun than losing.

        That is AWESOME.

I said last week that they had unfinished business-remember they didn't even cut the net down the whole way.

This one little gesture by the senior leader, and followed by the rest of the team, will continue to build fans for years to come.
