  • Update on Eric Coleman..

Sounds like Eric has surgery on Monday at the May clinic in Rochester.

First of all, great summer article by Coss and Beaton. This is the kind of stuff I really look forward to from the papers that most websites and publications can't/don't give you.

As for Coleman, I had a dream that he didn't have to have surgery...or was it a dream?
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

PTTB - do you know something you're not telling us? Shame on you for sandbagging!

Does this article make anybody else at least a little bit nervous. Is 2-3 weeks really that much more time to have off? I know the doctor said that further damage can't be done, it just makes me a little nervous I guess. But then again that's why I'm a Leisure Service major and not a doctor. Go EC.

Well first off these athletes are just way too pampered nowadays. In my day if you hurt your elbow, knee, whatever, you just rubbed a little dirt on it and kept playing.

Secondly, and this is the serious part, the guy at Mayo who made this diagnosis is one of the top elbow specialists in the country according to the article. That gives me a lot of confidence along with knowing this coaching staff would never do anything that endangered a players health just for the sake of an expedited recovery.
