I think we can hit 22 so I will take the over. 21 with our schedule I will be happy. 20 or less will be a let down.

For me, the goal is around 23ish wins, top 3 in the conference, and have enough good wins to be an at-large team in the NCAA's again. Obviously, I hope we win the conf tourny, but I would like to think we could have secured an NCAA bid by that time.

I'll be happy with another tourney birth, no matter how it happens.

I'd like to see the Valley come out and bust some non-conference opponents chops early, so we as a conference can get some good pub going. I think our conference has a legit shot at getting 3 teams in this year, but all the teams are going to have to own up and show everyone up early on. UNI definitely has a shot to make some noise early...should be exciting. Go Cats!

UNI will have a chance to make a significant impact on the conference as a whole if they perform in the non-conference.

I'm not trying to be Donny Downer here, but this thread reminds me of a similiar football thread a few months ago. I just want to beat whoever we play next. Again, I know it's fun to project, but I don't want us to get too full of ourselves. Not being critical----just cautious.

PR, I guess that is good advice. I'm not going to come out and say UNI will for sure be in the dance, and I'm not saying the Valley will for sure get 3 in the Dance. I am, however, saying that UNI, along with the Valley has enough talent back/in this year to make some good national noise. I think the conference as a whole will surprise a lot of people this year. Hopefully (optimistic caution), UNI will be a/the main player in the Valley's raucous year.

I was thinking along the lines of PR. The last men's basketball team with such lofty expectations.... Well let's just say it was a disappointment.

Personally I'd love to see them break the win record and get two wins in the tournament. To the original question, I'd take the over. I'm a purple kool aid drinking optimist.
If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times
