Nice story. I hope he promptly threw away that Yankees cap, though.UNI isn't exactly splitting atoms in terms of academics. -run&blade -
As much as I dislike the Yankees as well, he got to sit in Steinbrenner's box?!?! How COOL would that be!! I'd probably have to be a Yankee fan for a day if that opportunity ever arose for me!!Originally posted by TH1974Comment

Great interest story about UNI and Benny. I hope more articles like this continue to appear in the Register."10% of life is what happens to you, 90% is how you react to what happens."Comment

Benny in DSM REG
I am just surpirsed that they did a story about 1.) a kid from NW Iowa 2.) who plays at UNI 3.) and didn't mention Horner, Funk, and Haluska throughout that article.
As a Simpson College (living essentially in South Des Moines for four years) alum its amazing to see postive coverage about a panther, especailly one who is originally from Sioux City, in the register.
Good Job
to the Panther Nation group for helping the state realize there are 3 state schools that desereve the love of this state.
GO PANTHERS!!!
