Um, when they showed the teams shaking hands, was Drake's coach wearing a suit with fricken white tennis shoes? That looked way lame.

Edit: Jake was wearing white shoes today too.. maybe there was a reason for that?

Yep, at 6-5 in the Valley, Drake is tied for 3rd place. CU is currently 11-11.

Coach Mac is wearing them tonight, too. Must be the weekend for support of cancer. I hadn't heard anything about for today, but that's got to be it.

Saw a few games where the refs were using pink whistles. ILL wore pink shoes today, including the coaching staff.

My company is based in Central Michigan. A few years ago it started a 'Suits and Sneakers' on the Friday of the Coaches v. Cancer sneaker wearing schtick. One year, Tom Izzo was at the door helping the execs. collect the $5.00 from people as they walked in. It has filtered out to the hinterlands. My mid 80's Converse All-Stars which have never touched concrete, felt like Cadillacs for da feet all day Friday.
