That was also said by Steve Lappas on CBS about the entire Big East although he wasn't as whiny as Digger.

To probably no one's surprise, Dicky V made comments last night about the same thing. He even on making a comment about officiating....

I enjoy listening to him whine when any of his big 6 lose to other conferences

They shouldn't whine about officiating as the officiating is the only reason 1 Big East team won yesterday. Without the screw job Robert Morris would have beaten Villanova.

I thought playing in the Big East was supposed to make a team tough. If it's so hard during the regular season...then playing a team from a 'pedestrian' conference should be a breeze.

The Big East's performance makes people at ESPN look bad because they spent so much time promoting the Big East as the great conference along with the Big 12 so they find themselves having to explain how they got it so wrong. The Big East can't even dominate the NIT.

What we're seing so far actually helps make the case for an expanded tournament if it brought a lot more mid-majors because look at how well the non-power conference teams have played, but as we all know an expanded tournament will only result in more Seton Hall's in the tournament.

One game that I'm impressed with that their Monday Night Experts show nailed with almost universal agreement was Cornell. Now lets see if Cornell can win the 2nd Round game as predicted.

an expanded tournament is dumb. it only continues the bias towards the "BCS" conferences. I guarantee it will get more BCS teams in than it will "Mid-Majors."

i love how they keep giving Digger crap about the UNI team and the guys on it. I would pay to see the expression on his face when UNI shocks the world. He might accidentally grab a highlighter that doesn't match his lame-ass tye!

I love how on Sportscenter Digger and Hubert said there is no way for an upset and then Dick Vitale of all people at least gave us a little props. All Digger and Hubert care about is there precious Major conferences. They don't care about the little guys. And then the host pointed at Hubert and said he knew UNI could win but he just didn't want to learn how to pronounce Ali Farokmenesh. Then Dick Vitale kept pronouncing it.

If we keep the tempo slow and make our 3's we give Kansas a game, if not it could be a very long evening

No kidding. Where's the logic?

If playing in a tough conference all regular season wears you down for the tourney, then why not pick mid-majors to knock off Big 6 teams because they're "fresher"?

Which is it guys...does a Big 6 conference make you better or worse come tourney time? Can't have it both ways.
