For some random reason I was thinking about this year's ESPY's. I'm pretty sure that there is an award for the biggest upset of the year. Does anyone think that UNI beating Kansas will get a nomination?

Re: 2010 ESPY Awards
It is a category (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESPY_Awards#Awards), and I think it definitely should be given a nomination. I think everybody would agree that is was the biggest upset in the tourney, and probably the entire season. In 2005 Buckell won the award for beating Kansas, it would be nice to see Kansas on the losing side of that award twice. To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones. -
Re: 2010 ESPY Awards
The real question is this: what other upsets have happened during the year that are bigger than UNI over Kansas?
If there aren't any big ones, then this game will have a chance. If there are a lot of other big upsets, it could be tough.Comment

Re: 2010 ESPY Awards
Unless there is a huge in college football, like App. State over Michigan I don't really what would top our victory. So many people had Kansas winning the whole tournament.Comment

Re: 2010 ESPY Awards
Never having had the time (nor interest) to watch the ESPYS - what would a award actually do for UNI? I Would suppose Ali gets a trip to NYC. Other than that, any cash involved for scholarships?
How about a Gameday stop?Comment
