  • Seth Tuttle

Made All Tournament Team at the Las Vegas fab 48 AAU tournament. He is a real steal for us. Bigger schools really wish he would have waited.

Is he another Adam Koch? What's this guy's strengths? Pardon my ignorance... I just haven't found a lot on him.

Can play inside and out. Good shooter probably needs to put on some weight. Very good rebounder and plays with a edge to his game!

        "Barnstormers are for real
The Iowa Barnstormers, who are coached by Jamie Johnson, exhibited at the Fab 48 tournament how to share the basketball and play with purpose in mind. They were led by a trio of Division I players in 6-foot-8, Northern Iowa commit Seth Tuttle (Sheffield, Iowa/West Fork), 6-5 Josh Oglesby (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Washington) and 6-8 Wisconsin commit Jarrod Uthoff (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson).

Tuttle is a tough-minded all-around talent. He is a versatile 4-man that can shoot the jumper at the elbow or spin off his opponent in the post to convert easy baskets. Oglesby can flat-out shoot from distance and delivered some of the more spectacular assists during the Fab 48 tournament. Meanwhile, Uthoff is a college weight program away from making a significant impact for the Badgers. He has a smooth stroke out to the stripe and his face-up game is potent as well."

Watched Tuttle play this weekend at UNI's team camp. Wow!! Mr. Tuttle is the real deal and will make everyone forget about not getting a certain player from Cedar Rapids Jefferson.

Details please. A true back to the basket player? Or a 3 point shooting 4 spot? Ball handling skills? etc

He can seriously do it all. Post up, hit the 3, drive to the basket and VERY explosive. A very good ball handler for a big man and likes to dunk....had some thunderous dunks in the games I saw.

What I saw of him was his ability to be in control of his body while mid air and with the ball. Has great length, hits jumpers, and has great bounce to his step. I too agree with JC's review. He impressed me more than Uthoff...not b/c Uthoff is a slouch, but b/c I think Tuttle is just better. Granted, I saw Uthoff in early summer and this was Tuttle in late summer, so that could be the reason why, but Tuttle seemed more "fresh" FWIW.
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

i agree, there is little if any dropoff from uthoff to tuttle. if you read threads from othe in-state message boards, most people agree as well. seth simply committed early and we get to reap the benefits.

Sounds like you should flip that to "little if any dropoff from tuttle to uthoff".

If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

today jamie johnson said that he feels that uthoff, oglesby, and tuttle may all be top-150 when the post-summer evaluations are done.
