Who would you like to see a home and home with?

I know this has been touched on briefly on other threads, but I think it could make for an interesting thread.

What OOC teams would you like to see an OOC home and home, or continued series with?

I'd like reasonable answers, not that Duke, UNC, etc... aren't reasonable answers, but teams that we could pull something off with.

We need to decline the bracket buster from now on and talk to Dayton, Gonzaga, Utah, some A-10 teams about doing some made for TV games on Saturdays or a Monday night 8:00 prime time game.

We should look at St.Louis U., it'd be fun to whip up on NDSU in basketball, too-though that should be a 2-1 at minimum. Wisconsin-Green Bay again, Dayton, Tulsa, Valpo, Butler would be neat, but we may be a couple of more good seasons from being able to make that work, same with Gonzaga. Some of the FCS powers would be fun to match up with in BB-Montana, App, Delaware (the last would NOT be a good BB game, though)

UWGB, UW-Milwaukee, UIC, St. Louis, Butler, Gonzaga, BYU, Xavier, Dayton, Old Dominion, Minnesota, Northwestern, Illinois, Marquette, Wisconsin, and Missouri.

Pretty much in order of likelyhood.

Unrealistic probably: Minnesota, Wisconsin, or any bordering state's BCS school
Possibly: Butler, Gonzaga, Xavier, Temple
Probable: UW-GB (who is really climbing the Horizon Conf ladder), Dayton, Utah State, Houston

I think it's fun to think about these types of games, but IMO, I think Bracket Busters is our own little reward at the end of the year. That game is going to give UNI a bigger RPI boost than most BCS school games that would schedule a home/home with UNI. We may finally be able to play Butler this upcoming year as we are again a home team and they flipped to the away schedule. ODU, Siena, and Nevada have been much better games than 80% of the teams already listed. As for non-BCS "name programs", I would echo jeg's sentiments about seeing Dayton or Xavier on the schedule. Those would be great competitive games. However, they have little incentive to play UNI, unless they feel UNI is the next consistent top 30 program and would be a good way to get on TV. We aren't in their geographical footprint of recruiting (minus Jimmie Binnie) and I think they get caught up in the private school vs. public school thing like Creighton likes to at times.
