honestly...absolutely no clue. 1st glance is that the Valley seems waaaay down this year, but then again, some teams are either new, young, or new to each other, so who knows. I think UNI has as good of a shot at the title as any other team in the Valley. But I would say outside of Drake, and maybe Bradley, everyone in the league has a better-than-not shot at the title. My 2 cents.

I'm not as sold on WSU as I was at the beginning of the year. I still think they are the best team in the MVC, but they not be as dominant as I originally thought. They will find themselves in a lot of 60-56.

I agree with you I still think they are the most talented team, however I think there could be a good chance that 13 wins will win the Valley, the key to winning it will be taking care of things at home and steal a few on the road (same thing every year). Right now we have proven we can do the first, the second will be the key to where we finish out the season.

Wichita has really struggled on the road in the past few years, and it seems as though that may be their weakness again this year.

If they can't find a way to win the MVC this year with that team (deep, talented, veteran) in what seems to be a down year for the MVC, then Gregg Marshall should be fired. Though they haven't looked as good as some thought they should thus far, they still should be considered the clear favorite.

I still think we are a top 3-4 team this year, but this week in Las Vegas, and then at home against MSU to kick of the MVC schedule will really show us where we are as a team. These next few games are huge for us. Indiana and NM/Colorada and then a really good MSU team is going to be tough, so we will soon find out how good we are.

As everyone can see I removed the second part of my last sentence. With only 2 losses (top ten teams, UCONN/SDSU), and decent wins over LSU/UVA, they could still lose 4 or 5 MVC games and be in decent shape IMO. Although with 6 or 7 losses and and a loss before the championship game in STL they would probably be nervous on selection Sunday.
