I just saw this on the Des Moines Register website. Did anyone else know there is a McDermott who is a student here at UNI?

The thing that really bothers me is that all the news networks are saying Doug was just "A UNI Recruit," when he was actually a commitment. Euphemism!

I'm pretty sure I was aware of that. I believe he actually started his college career at ISU but transferred to UNI fairly recently. For me he is also a friend of a friend.
