    Throw Back Uniforms

    From the UNI website:
    The Panthers' home opener is Sunday, Nov. 27, at 5:00 p.m. in the UNI-Dome against Upper Iowa. That game will feature UNI wearing throw-back uniforms, reminiscent of Panthers' teams in the early 1970's. The jerseys and shorts worn by UNI players in that game will be available for purchase in an on-line auction at www.unipanthers.com, from Nov. 28 through December 9.
    I'm having a hard time remembering these jerseys but the online auction sounds like a good fund raiser and a chance for a fan to get something to hang in the game room...
    If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

    You got it!! I personally am going for Stout's jersey. And no, they won't be wearing short-shorts!! Bummer for the ladies!!

      All I can say is TG for that on the short shorts thing...

      You and several others will be bidding on Stout's jersey. Of course Benny's will probably be in the highest demand...

        Im gonna have to go for Ben's Jersey, family thing, and I want everyone to know that I am willing to pay. So if you Really want it your gonna be making a nice donation to the UNI Athletic dept. which is a good thing, but just know I love the phrase " I raise you".
