This much is true: the possibility of losing Jacobson to the Aggies was real.

let me say this, out of all that I took out of today. Deon Mitchell is confident and ready to play NOW. The kid doesn't want to just be competitive, he wants to WIN. For a kid that young, really refreshing that he had that attitude coming all the way from Texas to Cedar Falls. Some of the guys were just sitting around and damn, for the first time in years I didn't recognize every single face. Sonnen is a goof, might be the new comic relief that O'Rear was. Tuttle and Mitchell will probably NOT redshirt, according to Jacobson, enjoy more here... I'll update throughout the night...
