I figured it was about time for this thread. Below are two seperate projections for the NIT. Both list UNI, but as different seeds. We'll see how this plays out over the last few weeks of the season:

Re: NIT Bracketology
If you provide the email address, I will definitely join in sending an email. Heck, I'd even be willing to call them as well.Originally posted by panther-state View PostIf we get a home game we need to make sure we email the band department ourselves as they, and the athletic dept. apparently do not communicate too well on these things.
It's sad that I'm not joking one bit.

Re: NIT Bracketology
http://www.bankrollsports.com/blog/nit-bracketology/ bumped up to a 6
"while Northern Iowa is still going in the right direction and feels like a team that is going to get into the NIT when push comes to shove. The loss to Denver hurt in BracketBusters, especially at home, but we still think that wins over Creighton, Bradley, Wichita State, Bradley again, Illinois State, and St. Mary’s will be good enough to put UNI in the NIT."

Indiana St seeded above us as a 3? I know they beat us twice but that surprised me.Originally posted by orangetennis View Postwe're slated for a 4 in this projection: http://bracketproject.50webs.com/nit.html

Re: NIT Bracketology
After Iowa refusing to continue the home-home series, how awesome would it be to host them in an NIT game?
Obviously I'm hoping we win all three in St. Louis, but forcing Fran to come back to the McLeod Center would be pretty fun.Originally posted by TH1974This guy was all-UNI, and wanted to show it by pretending to play a non-existant musical instrument in public.
