If you want TV info, you need to check the thread/schedule at the top of the forum. It has the tv info you need.

The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

PTTB, speaking TV games, has anyone ever heard if any Iowa affiliates will be picking up the LSU game December 19th? I know Cox is broadcasting the game in Louisiana...will Mediacom and/or others be interested in picking up this game?

There's a rumor that 2 players were thrown out of ISU practice last night after getting into a fight.

I see no excuse for us losing this game tonight. We are, or should be, the better team. If we can shoot from the arc, we're gonna be just fine.

Yeah I heard the ISU players carry guns and knives when on campus and they rob women and children when they aren't playing street ball. Wayne runs over old lady's on his way to filming his tv show. ISU gets paid to have the players wear tall socks and head bands. Stinson can't beat you with the long ball or driving the lane. No one on ISU's team is capable of a 3 pointer. Losing Homen means ISU goes from a Big Dance team to a nothing team. Is that a pretty good re-cap so far?

Don't feel too bad Ames, this is how anyone who shows any support for an Iowa team gets treated...
If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

Even though we are the better team, in our opinion, ISU still has great athletes that can play, they are playing in front of a home crowd and they have the revenge factor. UNI will have to play their best game of the year so far to get it done.

I think the biggest factor in the game will be keeping ISU OFF the FT line and UNI making theirs. If UNI handles the ISU pressure and their 1/2 court zone defense, the Panthers will have open 3-point shots, if they make them, then I think they'll be ok. Next, limit ISU to ONE shot at the offensive end of the floor. Win the rebounding battle...UNI should be ok.

There are many factors to the game tonight. I hope the boys are ready to go First big chance to make some noise and prove people right. GO PANTHERS!!!

Oh I don't feel bad trust me. I just think people should stick to ripping on things that make sense. Like how I rip on Iowa fans because they really piss me off.

So rip on ISU FB choking on Sat. Rip on Jason Berryman. Anything where you can make some sort or reasonable point. Calling ISU players thugs and all this is dumb. Yeah they are mostly black guys, but calling them thugs is dumb. I couldn't think of a single one that is a thug. All this stuff started last year and at the time the only one close to rough and tough was Homen and he is gone.

Whats funny Ames is I think most of us have heard all of those things multiple time. Anyways, back to reality.
This is not going to be an easy game by any means, but its also a game we should and will win. ISU has a ton of talent in the same places we have a ton of talent (guards), and is somewhat weak and inexperienced where we are more weak and experienced (front court) (note: Not to put down our forwards, but are guards are still our strength). UNI won't let the Iona loss fool them and neither should we. ISU is capable of being a top 25 team, and may well return there later this year. I knock Hilton magic on a routine basis, but I think UNI has won one game in history in Hilton and other then WSU we've had very few big road wins lately, so the fact we're not playing in the Dome seems to perpetually be an issue. I think the game will hinge big on who wins the front court battle, both in terms of points and rebounds. Its a road game so our 3 production has to return to last years form, but we can't rely solely upon it. Defense against their guards will be key, but we did it last year and our defense has appeared improved this year. We're also going to have to make nearly all FT's we're given, because its at Hilton so you know the opportunities will be few. ISU has a lot to play for after the embarassment of last year and Iona and, well, we're always looking to beat the BCS boys so no ones looking past this one. My take: we win the front court battle thanks to Coleman and Stout, Benny returns to Silent Assasin form, and Crawford and Little own the guards. Its close, but we win in high single digits.

ISU has the athletes. We have the TEAM and the coach. But, if we get in foul trouble, or if we play as "lackluster" as we have so far this year, we could be in for a long night.

If that happens, I don't want to listen to ISU fan tomorrow.
