UNI opponents Virginia Commonwealth is #15 and Virginia is #25. LaSalle and Iowa State also receiving votes.

I believe Iowa State and Drake are our only common opponents. Iowa State's RPI will be solid enough that it doesn't really matter and Drake's will be so bad that one game against Iowa won't pull them up more than 3 or 4 spots.

I see Kansas is ranked 6th and have 311.5 times more votes then ISU. They have 3 common oppenents in ISU twice and Iona. Seems relevant to this conversation

Except that we can't control opponents opponents, we can only control those teams that have guts enough to schedule us. We got two ranked teams on our non-conference schedule, one is a return bracket buster game, the other is one we went and accepted a challenge for. None of them are Maryland-Eastern Shore, Abilene Christian, Nebraska-Omaha, or Fairleigh Dickinson. Thank God we don't have those as opponents opponents.

Kinda weird how tow guys who only come on here to correct incorrect statements about Iowa brought Iowa into a discussion they weren't even a part of to begin with. Yes I left them out, they aren't an opponent and I am not going to go through the entire non-conference schedule of every one of our opponents to track opponents opponents. And I sure as heck know you won't either because you really don't care about making that complete argument, only one that defends your beloved fictional 19th century woodsmen.

Same old tired routine for 9; bring Iowa into something where they aren't even mentioned, or get offended about a passing mention of them being less than glowing, and starting with the personal attacks. What's the point?

I'd love to see him answer Khan's question, though - let's hear it 9: let's get a rundown of all of our opponents' opponents...since they all should obviously be important to us. It is hilarious to watch you continually paint yourself into a corner like this....quality entertainment at it's finest.

OMG somebody said Iowa! Come on guys. Iowa is a rival. Even years we don't compete on the court we compete for fans and local coverage.
