I would take a #12 seed in the Dance; 12 seeds went 3-1 in the 1st round last season, and it should have been 4-0 if NC State had made their free throws.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last time we had this much returning experience was our Sweet 16 season, right?
On paper I would say this is our best team since then.Comment

I really like this years Panther team! The starting front court is top notch! The backcourt is deep with talent. The schedule is set up just right for a good record and a good RPI to boot. Two questions UNI will have to answer during the season:
Can you compete in the front court when Buss and/or Tuttle are on the bench?
Can Washpun and Mitchell complement each other in the backcourt?
Morgan, Bohannon, Jesperson, and Lohse gives so many options to coach Jacobson. Should be able to match up with almost anyone.Comment

We need to split against VCU/Iowa though. IF we don't...an auto bid is prolly our only shot. An AT-LARGE won't happen even if we beat Richmond ect ect...UNI has 1 of the most experienced teams in all of college hoops. Our shooters on any given night can destroy other teams from downtown making us the most dangerous mid-major in the United States of America!
The chalk is tough this year with Wisconsin, Zona, Kentucky, Kansas ect ect...but I think there are a small group of teams ready to scratch and claw like panthers to basketballs promised land the Final4.
I am here to be on the record as stating Northern Iowa will be 1 of the four teams.
