Let's just let March do the talking for the conference. I am sure most B12 fans would say that the WSU team from last year and two years ago wouldn't finish in the top half. However, when it comes to march they seem to perform quite well.

Well let's just talk about the conferences and the big dance. Of course it really just depends on matchups but here is my thought.

Big 12 - Kansas will be a tough out. Very beatable if you keep Selden in check and they are hitting the 3. 2nd game tends to be their achilles heel in most tourneys due to lack of prep time.

ISU - if they are on offensively..they can go a long way i believe. A good defensive team can stop them though in the half court. Playing a butler, UNI, etc could really hurt them.

WVU - this is my sleeper team for the tourney. With their style of play and press...I think they can easily make the Sweet 16 or Elite 8...IF and only if they don't run into a team that can beat their press efficiently though. If they can get past game one, i feel bad for team #2 with tired legs against that press.

Oklahoma could be a legit elite 8 team. they have all the tools and Kruger is a fantastic coach.

Okie State-Baylor and Texas are all head scratchers really. I think Texas honestly has the best chance out of any of those three but it just depends which Texas team shows up...I see OSU and Baylor out before the sweet 16.

UNI and WSU - it just depends on matchups. I'm not going to sit here and say we can make the sweet 16, elite or even win a game because well it's happened very little for us and it would be silly to honestly say we would win. We've been so close to winning just one (how many 5 pt losses!?) It will really depend on matchup. I think we can honestly win game 1 and just hope for a great draw for game 2. Same for WSU. If they can get a good draw for game 2 they could go to the sweet 16. I feel WSU could actually lose their first game depending on who they play just from the games I've seen them play.

When they have a crappy team, ISU and Iowa fans don't care about UNI being better. When these teams are horrible their fans just say "yea well we suck and everyone knows that."

When ISU and Iowa think they have a good team they absolutely hate seeing UNI being more successful.

Exactly. They think that they're supposed to be good but that's far from the truth.
