  • Fan Bus to Creighton!!

Just got this email from the Athletic Club:

The Athletic Club is hosting a fan bus to the UNI Men's Basketball game
vs Creighton in Omaha on January 31, 2006. The bus trip is $48 for
Athletic Club members and $50 for non-members and includes
transportation, pre-game event hosted by the UNI Alumni Association (hot
dogs, chips and cash bar) and your game ticket. Call 273-DOME or toll
free 877-216-DOME to reserve your seat before January 25th. See the
    attached flyer for more details!

Since I can't put the attachment on...Here are the details:

Depart Cedar Falls at 1:30 PM from the North Gravel Lot by the WRC. We will pick up in Des Moines at 3:45 PM at the West Des Moines Marriott just off I-80 on Jordan Creek Parkway.

    Excellent!
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

I just got that e-mail as well. Anyone thinking about going? I can actually go if Mrs. 2317 gives the go ahead

        I might hop aboard....
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

Front Row, can you give us a little more background on your signature at the bottom of your posts?

With a minute or two left in the first half we make a trip back out to the parking lot to do a little halftime tailgating. During one game this past season I needed to stay in at halftime to help with a friends children. I looked at my wife and asked, "They have bands at halftime?" It of course was a joke. But my wife failed to see the humor!

                  EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO THIS!!!
Last year the game at Creighton was soo close and such a good game and we had almost NO fans there. I know I will be there for sure, so lets see a big PN turn out, I know its a weekday game, but its a great game, and the Qwest Center is a great arena. Okay sorry for the rant, but please, call your friends and get them to come it'll be a lot of fun.

we had a full bus last year. no fans?

Fun time, except we didn't stop for food on the way back so I was starving. Luckily ontheprowl04 had some delicious kettle chips. We also had to watch a chick flick(little black book) on the way home.
