Cudos to coach Mac, his staff, Rick Hartzell and the athletic department, the team, the fans, and anyone I left out. Its been a long time comming and it took an enormous amount of work to get here. Now, to take care of business in Omaha and the rest of the season. This is a sweet bonus, the MVC titles and the Sweet 16 are the goals.

An historic moment to say the least. Panther fans should enjoy this. These types of things can be fleeting. Very important for the Panthers to play like nothing has changed. If they play their same style, with the same passion and intensity...they'll be ok.

I think teams will put a target on the Panthers now...but I think UNI has been playing with a target on their backs this season already. Since they were picked as pre-seasuon favorites, I think they've gotten teams best shot. That will continue now, but I think the guys are ready for this. Theyv'e worked too hard to get here to not stay there. Good luck boys and play well with the # in front of your name. GO PANTHERS!!!

Great day for everyone involved with Panther Athletics. It's great to see that people are starting to see what we have seen all year. This is great for coaches, players, students, fans and that whole community. Another Panther first that is good to see!! Now let's go get a win tomorrow against Creighton!!

Let's see if I can say this a better way

I think the Panther players and coaches deserve this national recognition by entering the weekly poll at #24. They have all worked tirelessly this season to get to where they are and they've earned this spot in the poll.

I think what they already know is that now they will have to work even harder to keep what they've earned. People will want to take it from them and they will have to treat this like something they would fight passionately to never have taken from them.

Defend what you've earned Panthers!!! Let's have a great week.

Congrats to everyone associated with the program. This is a day many thought would never come, and a level of recognition and respect that a great team and fantastic University deserve.
