  • Siu Lost To Isu At Home!!!

Well SIU lost, so it is again a 4 way tie for 1st place in the valley (with the Tie breaker going to Creighton right now since they beat us 2 times)...

on a side note: we play ISU 2 times still, and Moss is back. he looked VERY good tonight for being out so long, and they played very well tonight. SIU is almost impossible to beat at home (with evidence by their home winning streak that was over 30 straight games) and ISU hadnt been playing well at home. I think this shows how important Moss is to this team! We definitely need to take both our games against ISU seriously!

I am starting to wish that we would have played one of our ISU games while Moss was out..haha...

I'm not sure it works that way. In multiple ties, their is a point system in place to break the tie. Now, Creighton may still win the point system, they have 3 wins, UNI has 2 wins, SIU has 2wins and WSU doesn't have any vs. the top 4. So I think Creighton would be the #1 seed, UNI #2, SIU #3 and WSU #4.

Also, Moss and Gray played the other night when Missouri State pounded them in Terre Haute. A friend of mine told me that Moss was average, but Gray was the best player on the floor when he wanted to be. I think a lot of their game is mental.

CU still has to go to Springfield and Wichita...UNI has swept those games. If UNI wins out at home and can win at InSU, then 4 losses in the conference WILL win a conference championship outright this year.

I don't think any of the teams tied for first wins out this season from this point. So I think you are right once again PTTB. 14-4 will win a share of the Valley regular season championship.

Come on Panthers!!! First game is Indiana State this Saturday! Hopefully fans are spreading the word to come out and watch the Panthers play on Fox Sports Net.

That's kind of a shame. I wanted UNI to be the ones to snap that streak. But it's all good, though.

Just shows you can't overlook the twigs with their stars back. Those could be two very tough games

It stinks that we have to play them twice when they are at full strength and after their RPI has been destoyed. However, Creighton and Wichita still have to play them again. At least the upset happened right before we play them so they will have our players full attention on Saturday. They could be a dangerous team in the MVC tournament.

Going to be there in full force. My friend, and fellow alum, is making his way back from Florida this weekend to catch his first game of the season. Let's get it loud in the DOME!!
