  • CBS Sportsline Poll 2/7/06 How many NCAA bids should MVC receive?

    Vote 5 early and often.

Also, listen to the Gregg Doyel memo right above the poll on Gonzaga. Besides believing that Gonzaga is overrated, he could have mentioned that the WCC officials bailed Gonzaga out at home last night with a phanton foul call. The ESPN announcers questioned the call made by an official nowhere near the play.
"Lot of people talked about Ohio State or Georgetown or Michigan State or whoever, [or] Maryland in our bracket. When the brackets came out, the first team I looked at was Northern Iowa," Kansas Coach Bill Self.

hmm...when I vote instead of showing the results it just comes back to the poll. Does that mean it's letting me voter over and over without leaving the site and coming back or clearing my cookies? And how do we see the results?

Someone should make sure this is posted on the substitute valleytalk.

Possibily its been repaired. I voted on our other computer, and then when I tried to vote a 3rd time it wouldn't let me. It will only show me the current results.

There is still one bracket prediction where UNI is still a 4 seed, and that's on CSTV, which was updated last Friday. If UNI wins tonight, this site might have UNI a 3 on Friday. Iowa is also a 4, and Iowa State a 12 on the edge.

          Creighton is a 8, SIU a 9, and Wichita State a 9.

CBS Sports delivers today's top sports news, live scoring, stats and player info for NFL, NBA, MLB and more of your favorite leagues.

          They also have a Mid-Major Top 10 at http://www.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/...020706abd.html

UNI's not ranked but the reason (I had to back to the previous week to learn why) is because UNI is in the "real" polls.

First of all, major props go to the Panthers of Northern Iowa as they become the latest team to transcend the Ten to Watch and graduate to the national rankings. We raise our stein of Falstaff, let out a hearty "Ziggy Sokky, Ziggy Sokky, Hoy, Hoy Hoy!" and imbibe in their honor. Here's to the job Greg McDermott is doing with the team and the program. We wish the purple and gold continued success as we inch closer toward March Madness.

As we give a tearful, yet proud goodbye to Northern Iowa, Bucknell is the new team in the catbird seat of the Ten to Watch. We'll see how long the Bison can stay there."

I deleted the Sportscenter comment, because I guess I was wrong.
