  • Thanks Hawkeyes...

the 70-67 outcome in favor of iowa over indiana is really a double-win for the panthers if UNI can get a win tonight.....helps out Iowa's RPI and IU was ranked 21st....combine this loss with a bad loss at wisconsin during the middle of the week and i think you'll see the panthers ahead of the hoosiers in the rankings.

any other games we should be watching for strength of schedule/rankings help?

Now, LSU (currently down 6 points in the second half to Florida) needs to step up and win too!

        Purdue just won 84-70.

Iowa State plays at Kansas. It would be nice if the Clones got their RPI back in the Top 50, and it would be nice if Bradley could also get back inside the Top 50 so that UNI will not have lost to any teams outside the Top 50 (contingent on UNI winning at Indiana State). I imagine it would help UNI's NCAA Tournament seed. Bradley has a pretty good chance to finish inside the Top 50 if they win at Normal today with all their remaining games at home except their trip to Cedar Falls. Iowa State's a different matter because the best I would expect them to finish is 4-3.

Another "double" if ISU beats Kansas-- RPI boost + KU would lose some top25 votes and allow the Panthers to solidify theirs.

Every game gets bigger-- let's roast some Bears tonight!
