    Yeah baby! We've been so worried about our own house, we didn't see the Bison coming. They've just kept winning, and since all the teams #20-25 keep finding ways to lose, Bucknell has worked their way into the rankings. (and above us in RPI, btw). edit: okay, I see realtimerpi.com has Bucknell at #16 and us at #18, but others such as kenpom.com - who I trust a bit more - still has Bucknell in the #30s. that said, I'll limit my RPI comments since there seems to be wide variations from site to site.


    Should be a good one in the Dome! Go Panthers!!

        i respect their record and know that all five of their starters return from last years tourney team but still, the patriot league? they arent even rolling over every team in that league, theyre undefeated but theyve had some close games and for a team in a conference like that i think they should be dominating teams more. wtih respect to their record they deserve to be ranked but i think strength of schedule plays a big part in why were unranked now compared to them being ranked. the valleys quite a bit tougher.

          It's easy to lessen the worth of their wins in conference, but look at Gonzaga for an example. The WCC is down compared to a year ago and yet, the Zags are winning very close games in their league as well. Bucknell is wearing a target and they're getting the best shot from their conference opponents. We should know exactly what they feel like. Now...that being said...let's go take their ranking back.

            This means a win Tuesday and another Saturday and we will be ranked again, headed into the last week of the regular season!

              anyone know what our record is against ranked opponents in the dome? I know we have had a lot of success against them recently. should be a great game for the national tv audience!

                i think it sets up well for us, theyve been getting the publicity this year up until a couple weeks ago and now we can go take their ranking and show we deserve the attention we get if we win. and no disrespect to bucknell i think theyre good, i think itll be a tough game, i just think they might have another thing coming being used to watered down patriot league competition.

                  I bet that's what Syracuse, Kansas, Pittsburgh, and Saint Joe's all said in the last two years before losing to Bucknell. Oh, and every single Big Ten or Big 12 team we've played in the last 20 years. Does anyone else see the irony?

                  And don't forget that Duke and Villanova is also the kind of "watered down" competition that Bucknell "is used to" this year. Sure, I hope we stomp the crap out of them, but when did we become so cocky?

                    i said watered down patriot league competition, and look at syracuse this year, can say theyre all that good. saint joes isnt quite the greatest competition either, as far as kansas goes i already said i understand they returned all 5 starters from the team that beat them but that was last year and its just in my opinion that theyre not that great when you look at their conference competition.

                      I honestly dont think we've played many ranked teams in the dome unless Iowa or ISU is ranked when they come in.

                      SIU, when they were 17-0 in conference... weren't they ranked???

                      So is 4 wins correct? I wouldn't know the losses.

                          i think creighton was ranked a couple of years ago when they came in and we beat them?

                            i believe we beat both SIU and Creighton a couple years ago when they were ranked. i read that somewhere this year
