Win out and win it all in St. Louis. Anything less than a 4 is a tragedy.
A side note: we can't just hope to get to Sunday in St. Louis. If we do not win the tournament we are better off losing on Saturday so a national audience can't see it!!

Absolutely not! Win on Saturday as a lot of major decisions will be made Saturday night, losing on Sunday might be a mute point at the time as our fate might already be sealed. Especially if we are playing a Creighton or a Southern Illinois where there fate might be sealed anyway. The only way this could be true would be if a non-contender played on Sunday for the auto-bid (Bradley, Drake, Il State)Originally posted by bcrawfWin out and win it all in St. Louis. Remember that we're a week before Selection Sunday. Which is a good thing and a bad thing. Last year, I think that week gave everyone a chance to forgetr that we lost in the quarterfinals of our conference tournament.
This year, with as hot as the Valley has been a topic of conversation, that week gives the national media a week to forget how good the top 5 teams in the Valley are.
The Panthers just need to win and erase all doubt.

A 4 or 5 seed was looking pretty good just a few days ago. That was before the home loss to Missouri State, and the DISAPPOINTING loss to Indiana St. ISU has also beaten Southern Illinois this year, and SIU is still up there pretty high, so I think UNI still has a good chance of getting a good draw in the NCAA's. The loss to ISU might drop the Panthers just a little bit, but still they should be in good shape.
