  • "Mr. Jump Around"

Wanted to give you a shout out and a thanks for the impromptu entertainment. Hope you have a little something special planned to finish things off for the final home game. I'd like to see you combo with the Panther dance team at midcourt, but It'd be wrong of you to show up all those trained dancers. I'm not sure what happened to you for the Wichita State game but I found my attention drawn to the Scooter "white man's cabbage patch\sprinkler" combination. It still haunts my dreams at times
...by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries. Yep, it's made with bits of real panther. So you know it's good."

Does anyone know who this new unlikely hero is? Someone needs to give him serious props. He also needs to come back next year and get a tradition going (a lot like Neutron Man at Ohio State)!

Mr. Jump Around, is ECrawford's Father's Best Friend (wow that was a lot harder to type than say in my head). He is a great guy and will be there Wednesday as well from what I heard in the parents section.

He is a friend of Mr Crawford. He said that they didn't make the MSU game due to a bad back, but I couldn't hear if it was his or Mr Crawford's. Very nice guy (as is Mr Crawford) who I've been lucky enough to sit by during several games. What is just as funny is to watch Mr Crawford during "the show" as he can barely keep a straight face. I'm guessing one final performance from him will come on Wednesday night!

            Love the Jump Around guy.

I hate to report that the Neutron Man here at Ohio State died this past summer due to a Heart Attack. He was well known person around town and Ohio State games. I had the opportunity of introducing him at pre-party before the Ohio State and Wisconsin game here in town at work.

That's really too bad. I got my picture taken with him once. He was a helluva nice guy.

                May he rest in peace...

The jump around guy hypes up the crowd and give team a energy boasted it need at the Bucknell game. If he does not get in for free he should be.

indianapolis has a guy like this....."Macho Mike".....haven't seen him in awhile, but he is typically at every one of the Indians (AAA baseball) games dancing to YMCA and YMCA only.......kind of sad if you ask me

but then the QC Mallards had a dude also.....the guy that danced to cotton-eyed joe.....classic.....

super-fans dancing can be good or bad....i hope the "Jump Around Dude" is top notch though, as i haven't seen him!

Oh, he's great... he's one of those random phenomena that the crowd just loves. I don't get his popularity, but I don't care... it's fun to watch.

He missed the MSU game due to Crawford's dad fighting back problems. I talked to "jump around" before and after the game Sat. and told him how the cameras and the crowd were looking for him. I also made him promise to come back for games in the MAC next year and he assured me he would be back. He's a great guy who carries a perpetual smile. Crawford's dad just grins and shakes his head.

If "jump around" doesn't make it to games next year, I recommend that the new tradition continue and I nominate "2317" to continue that tradition.
                        Do I hear a "second."

I must be the only person who doesn't know who "Mr. Jump Around" is. I guess I am too focused on the game itself and miss some of the side attractions.

But I will second P2317 for the gig in the future and promise to watch for him.
