    Sportsline says MVC equals 5

CBS says that the MVC gets 5 bids. http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball

I hope he's right...but I have a feeling this will be the year of the mediocre BCS conference schools getting at-large bids.

If that happens, an opportunity is made for the mid-major schools who are in to win some games and make some noise by beating those mediocre teams.

If the Valley gets 4 or 5 in, they need to get a couple wins. Whether it's one team getting to the Sweet 16 or a couple first round wins. They need to validate those tickets with a couple W's.

I was glad to see Creighton pull out that win against Fresno late Saturday for the same reason. The top 5 in the Valley going 3-2 on bracketbuster saturday sounds a lot better than 2-3.
Winning is more fun than losing.
