  • Watch all NCAA Tournament games from your PC for free?

Not sure about this but it looks like unless a game is blacked out in your area you may be able to watch all the NCAA basketball tournament games online. Buyer beware though. I haven't fully examined it but there is a deadline for singing up for preferential treatment in getting access. When I registered they asked for a nickname, password, your name, state and an email address.

I'm not sure if it'll work but if the UNI game is blacked out for this for your area perhaps you could indicate you are not located in Iowa when signing up. Like I said, buyer beware, your milage may vary, etc.

THANKS I just wish I had a DVD burner on my computer so I can save it for viewing later.

It works just fine. I had it last year and it was a lot of fun. We had two laptops and a PC set up around the regular tv so that we could watch four games at once. The only weird thing, of course, was when on the tv they'd cut into one of the computer games, it was always like 20 seconds ahead. (It was also great for work on Thursday and Friday afternoon for round 1!!!)

Seriously, there is no catch as long as you agree to receive free magazines (at least that's what it was last year). What they are banking on is idiots like me who forget to call and cancel them and then they charge you for them.

SO DONT FORGET TO SAVE EVERYTHING and CALL TO CANCEL EVERYTHING!!

FYI...only 'out of market' games will be shown. SO, if UNI is on KGAN (in Eastern Iowa) then you will not be able to watch UNI on the net. If, for some reason, they weren't showing UNI, then you WOULD be able to watch the game online.

That's the same as Direct Tv's "Mega March Madness"...they have all of the out of market games on their own channels...and then your 'local' game on CBS is shown (surprise) on your local CBS channel.

I think that all depends on your credit card address. So lets say (please no!!) that we get a Thursday afternoon game and a lot of you have to work... you can't watch it at work on our computer if you live in Iowa most likely. So, maybe you can change your CC#s address to like Montana or something for a day, just to make sure you are out of market!!!

I didn't enter a credit card, just a state. VIP access (which gets you moved up in the queue for viewing a game) is free (unless you get the magazines that must be canceled which was mentioned). I presume if you sign up with different names and email addresses you can get "VIP" status for different states (or more accurately TV markets/regions) so you can watch multiple games or ensure you can get a blacked out game that isn't blacked out in another region. Maybe they check your IP address though and limit signups to one per IP address or use some lookup service to pinpoint your physical location.

I didn't see anything about magazines. If they do try to sell me a subscription I'm canceling. Also they didn't ask me for a credit card information.
