I like the idea of Grant playing a 4 sometimes, his midrange game is improving fast.
I remember two years ago that Everett Pedescleaux was highly recruited by a lot of the better mid-major programs. What are people expecting from him after his injury and splitting time between basketball and football?

I am also a fan of Mason Stewart but I try not to push to hard as I know I am biased towards Illinois basketball. Bryan Mullins from SIU is a stud and would have looked great at the point for us but I am not sure if we recruited him or not.
If UNI had Bryan Mullins starting at PG, they probably would have gone about 16-2 in Valley play. That would have been something to see this team with a good point guard who can run the show and cause havoc on defense.

You know what Hime? I would say that if we had LeBron James we would be a better team too. Stop with all of this crap you subject us to.

          bcrawf,

I was just about to post that help is on the way at the point guard spot. I've been told by many that the kid from Tartan (I'm not going to begin to spell his name) is the real deal. 6'2," athletic, long, strong, and can stroke it.

Why didn't you get on the original poster who mentioned it in the first place?

Because the original poster was talking about next year, not this year. Ifs, buts, should haves, and maybes are bull ****. If your aunt had balls, she'd be your uncle too, but that doesn't change things at all. So stop with the what if we had a different PG stuff. What if Ben had scored 20ppg this year? Maybe the team would be 18-0 in conference, but this team has done a great job and accomplished so much, and the current PG was part of that like it or not. So bite your tongue and lets get back to the point of this thread, next year.

            (this is to Hime)

and bcrwf, good point, if we had steve nash, at PG all season we'd be unstoppable too.

On another front, the NCAA released its Academic Progress Report today, and the basketball team is ranked between the 80-90th percentile for basketball teams.
