    At Syracuse...that's a great get for the Shockers. Face it, nobody's 'expected' to win in the Carrier Dome...even under the double-standard reserved for leagues like the MVC, if WSU loses but at least stays close, that's a plus in the national eye. It's out east, at a perennial top 25 school, ESPN loves the Big East...I don't see that one as 'prostituting oneself' at all. How many Big 12 or Big 10 teams have the marbles to play at Syracuse? (of course, the way Boeheim usually schedules, maybe the question is how many has he turned down in the past?)

    And a home & home w/LSU is tremendous...hopefully more schools in the Valley can get games like this.

      Bucknell has won at Syracuse, so Wichita State has a legitimate chance to win.
      "Lot of people talked about Ohio State or Georgetown or Michigan State or whoever, [or] Maryland in our bracket. When the brackets came out, the first team I looked at was Northern Iowa," Kansas Coach Bill Self.

        Thankfully, UNI doesn't have to worry about this right now. UNI gets home and homes with Iowa/ISU, play in tourneys with Washington and Pepperdine, and play quality non-BCS teams such as UW-Milwaukee, Bucknell, and Loyola-Chicago.
