Can't beat them twice this week if we don't get the first one.

Don't know a ton about them other than they are HUGE and physical. They want to play slow.

It's easier to force a team to slow down than it is to force them to speed up as we well know. Sounds like our outside shooting is going to be needed in this one (though that probably can be said for any of our games)...
If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

Funny to be on the other side of "they want to slow it down."

Just watched the replay of the EKU game. This team, when we click on offense and defense is going to be one of the most fun to watch teams in recent (all?) UNI history. Sure, we gave up 85 points to EKU but they hit some incredible shots. Plenty of work on the defensive side of the ball to be done, but it'll continue to improve. Excited to see what this team can do against ODU. Go panthers!

This is exactly where I'm at. We knew being this young was going to lead to a rough November but once this thing clicks, look out.

We may play faster than anyone in the Valley except Evansville (how's that for a sentence you never thought you'd read). By February 1, we may be the best team in the league. Loyola and ISUred certainly haven't set the world on fire.

Tip is going to be closer to 2:30, right? 30 minutes after the end of the Kennesaw St-Eastern Kentucky game?

Depends, that's what I thought about the garne against EKU, and yet when I tuned in, I missed the first five minutes of the garne.

3 point shooting is hot early. Great active hands on defense as well.

Cats take a 12-8 lead, on four 3 pointers, under 12 timeout. Brown, AJ, Spencer, and Luke all with one. You know, the regular shooters on the team. 3 ball has a higher percentage than transition layups right now.

Blown away by Luke McDonnell's improvement. He's becoming the player that we thought he was going to be 3 years ago when the several big time recruiting writers thought we got the steal of the class.

We still, however, have no idea how to run a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 break....

Lol. Not sure why that statement is funny, because it's true.

ODU's center already has two fouls. Looks like he'll sit for a while.
