I have listened to some of these podcasts, and they do have interesting guests. Unfortunately, the two Podcasters are UNI haters.

I appreciate having an MVC podcast to listen to, and I think they do a pretty good job for guys that aren't professional media people. I've gotten an inkling that they don't care for UNI too, especially the guy who is the Illinois State fan. But when I take my purple glasses off and look at it I don't think they're UNI haters per se, but they've become pretty close buds with some of the Drake people so they I think they tend to lean that way. But they don't HATE us. They've definitely developed close relationships with some folks and I don't think there is a UNI person among them so they don't show as much love to us because none of their buddies are UNI people. But if we were playing in the dance, they'd be rooting for us.
I also find it odd that the one guy is a die hard Illinois State basketball fan but doesn't care at all about football. The SIU guy follows SIU football, but the ISU guy doesn't care about FCS. Nothing wrong with that, just strange that a guy could be hardcore into mid-major basketball but won't give FCS football the time of day. For the record, we don’t hate Northern Iowa, and some of their fans we’ve met are some of the best interactions I’ve had. Do we make fun of them for the “Northern” thing and the hot tub game coming up, yeah - of course we do. Anyone who takes it personal though, that’s their problem. 'Northern' is super annoying but if you get to 'NIU', we're throwing hands lol.
You guys do a great job, we've always kind of been an insular fan base so it's not terribly shocking that you don't run into us much. We don't have a Spaghetti Guy or a Raiderzz or anybody like that that goes out of the way to troll. We're just understated Iowans, lol.
