These announcers crack me up. They are such homers that no matter how down their team is they talk like they're up 20. Love their enthusiasm though. Wish we had this kind of environment at every basketball game too.

Seriously though. This is what supporting the program looks like. GCU is mediocre and they've got a full house. Their students are awesome, game experience looks fun too.

Also, I don't know who needs to make it happen, but I love the twitter bar at the bottom of the stream. Fun way for fans and students to interact with the game.

Hopefully someone from our marketing dept is in attendance and taking some notes.
They're doing something intentional to get people in the arena and then obviously investing in the fan experience to increase the likelihood of a return. There's gotta be plenty more things to do in the Phx/Scottsdale area than go to a below average WAC hoops game so something else is attracting people. Would be nice to tap into that creativity.

I mean, the temp there is 70, they're located in a metro of 5 million, their coach is a local sports icon and former NBA all star.... they have a few things going for them. But yea, the students are still going down 22 with 7 mins left!
