Loyola:Biggest Game of the Year

[valleyalum]

I believe this is the biggest game of the year for UNI. This game will be looked back on during tournament invitation time and a road win here is a must for the Panthers! Go UNI!!!!

It's the biggest game...because it's the next on our schedule. And just like every "next game", it's one that we believe we must win to get that NCAA invite in March.

Amen to that 2317

And dont' forget to give 110%.

Valley is partially right... this is a HUGE game. As we know, you pick up more RPI "points" (?) with winning on the road and Loyola is probably the 2nd best team we'll play in the non-conference. They gave us a great game two years ago and I expect more of the same Saturday.

However, once we move into the MVC, there are much bigger games on the docket than this one.

I hope the boys can shake off the rust after so much time off. I believe they will!

As a Loyola fan, I wish we took each individual game as seriously as you guys apparently do. We often fall into the trap of playing down (or up) to our competition. But we're rebuilding a program that has been mostly crappy for the past 20 years, and you guys have had some great success recently. That's one of the big differences.
