  • Huge Win

Wow, that was a tough game. We really needed that win to secure our place in the Valley. Bradley is going to win quite a few games and it was critical to beat them at home. Great job, Panthers.

Had a fantastic first half. But then in the early second half it's like we fell asleep for 10 minutes. Way too many mistakes, which almost let Bradley back into the game.

    Gotta watch out for that.

Big win on national TV. Glad we pulled away again at the end to win by 11. Was too close there for a while.

Stout and Coleman both had huge nights. Those two alone out rebounded Bradley.

Indeed, great win. Congrats to the team, coaching staff, fans that were able to see the game live and to all of us stuck watching on TV. It was great to see the Panthers on a fifty inch plasma rather than in a two inch "all access" broken audio and video.

Boy I was concerned when Bradley had the ball and was down by 6 though. It looked like the tides had turned and we were sinking fast. The next three was huge and seemed to plug the leak. Stout and Coleman had huge games. Our rebound advantage was incredible albeit against a smaller team.

I haven't checked the stats but it sure seemed as if we had a disproportionately large number of fouls called against us tonight. I'm not suggesting they weren't deserved but maybe it was due to trying to defend against a four guard lineup they were playing.

It doesn't get any easier. Big game coming up in a few days.

Nice to see Stout have his best game this year.

Did anyone else notice how sloppy the team got when Coleman went out? Not coincidentally that is when Bradley got back in. He is a beast and the key to the success of this team.

Nice to see the coaches try their best to match up with Bradley's small lineup. I noticed Koch got a lot of pt and Egleseder did not play at all.

Kwadzo needs to slow down sometimes, but you can't discount the fire he plays with. He is going to be special. I really wonder, though, when people are going to consitently prounounce his name right. I still don't now what its supposed to be

Bradley still has some serious talent and could very well make another run in the NCAAs this year if they can get there and get the right matchups.

The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

I like this kid! He handles the ball very well and it is really nice to see him bring the ball up the court. He had a nice "answered" 3 pointer in the first half.

Why no time for Jordan last night?

Was it a match up issue or is he hurt? Seems like the big guy could have spelled Stout or Coleman a couple of times. Hope he is fresh and ready to go against the Shockers.

Despite losing a big lead, I came away from last night's game with some real positives. First, Stout really does seem to be back in the flow. Second, we all need to keep reminding ourselves that Ahelegbe and Koch are only freshman but they are making some major contributions. The other freshman are also contributing when they have the opportunity. Third, the more balanced scoring by this year's squad is a real plus compared to last year or at least down the stretch more players are willing and able to take the shot. I think that Coach Jake is more aggressive in play calling down the stretch than Coach Mac was and that fits this team well.

It was absolutely a matchup issue. Bradley played with 4 guards and mostly from the perimeter. Jordan would have been out of position.
