Game 15 - at Evansville - Jan 4

Game day is almost here and I just saw on social media that, if we win, we'd be 4-0 to start conference play for the first time in 16 years. That's a very, very long time. Regardless, Evansville is kind of, sort of, awful this season. However, we have the state of Indiana curse looming over us. Gotta put them away early and keep the foot on the gas. Go Panthers!

They're, by a wide margin, the worst offense in the league. Just pack the defense and we're going to be more than fine.

They've been in all of their mvc losses so far, save ISUr. I wouldn't say this is a gimme game.

There is no game on our remaining schedule that is a given. Even this game, in a place that has been a nightmare for us, will be a battle.

Vegas is definitely aware of the history in Indiana. We sit at 91 in KenPom while Evansville is at 267. We are only 4.5 point favorites in this game. This game feels like it's going to be 49-44 or something outrageous. We struggle with interior size and unless we really start hitting the three ball, it's going to be ugly for both teams.

Joshua Hughes, AJ Casey and Connor Turnbull have been about the only thing going for Evansville this year. They are at 6'10", 6'9", and 6'10" respectively however. Hundley and Hemenway have been semi-effective from three this year, but they just aren't a great shooting team.

It kind of feels like Ragland is in his last year unless something drastically changes this season.

His defensive energy is awesome. He's going to get fouls as a freshman in the way that he guards, but I'll take that over soft defense any day.

Offense still looks a little clunky but we've started hitting 3s, and the D is doing its thing!
