  • Game 24 - Bradley - Feb 6

Bradley comes to town tomorrow night. They have been a little up and down but playing pretty well lately. We sit at 109 in KenPom while Bradley is at 138 while not playing defense at the level we are used to seeing from them.

Tristan Smith is still listed as questionable so we will see if he plays tomorrow night. From the sounds of how he was moving this past weekend in warmups, I'd like to think he will.

Jaquan Johnson is a bulldog, and Jonovic is always a tough cover at his size. Bradley has a couple dudes who can really shoot it, mainly Huibregtse.

Hoping to have a good crowd for Panthers in Paradise and I'll see you there! Go Cats!

Should be a good crowd tonight and fun atmosphere. Should be lots of beer flowing on a Friday night.

One we've got to get honestly. I'd be absolutely shocked if Tristan didn't play.

Remember, we lost a close game over there without Tristan OR Will and Max was just off the illness and in foul trouble all night. I expect we'll see good Izzy tonight simply because Jonovic can't guard him on the perimeter. Max will get to stand on Huibregtse's toes all night.

Excited for tonights game. Agree with BC, we have to get this one. We've talked a lot about our record if Feb. over the years so we've gotta keep piling on the wins. Can't wait to see Tristian back. I think once we're back and healthy we will be able to take a collective breath together.

They probably have to go 6-2 to even have a chance at the bye in STL, and we have road games left at Murray, Belmont, Indiana State, and Drake. Realistically have to win all the home games and hope to split on the road. So yes, must win game tonight.

Little Trey Campbell appreciation post here

I called Tytan the Last True Panther down the stretch last year, I was wrong. It's Trey.

He's going to end up 3rd all time in games started, 12th-ish in scoring, Top 5 in 3s made (on far fewer attempts than the rest of the Top 5), Top 12 in assists and 3rd in steals with an outside shot to get to 1st (needs to average 2.3 steals in the 9 guaranteed remaining games).

An absolute all timer that isn't ever going to get the respect he deserves (and they're still working on loopholes to find him an extra year due to some kind of NIL eligibility deal).

I would not be opposed to another year of Trey Campbell. Loophole away.

And he's a really good dude. The shot's been off this year by his standards, but I have faith he's going to get it figured out this next month. It would be incredible if we got another year of Trey. I know we are losing quite a bit of production going into next year, but we really do have a strong foundation. There are unknowns but the potential is really high.

Having another known quantity at the point so our PG rotation isn't suddenly RJ and Redek (maybe Levi Valdo?) Would certainly be preferable.

Any word on if Tristian is a go or not? Not in the starting line up.

Well, cold start for both teams. Lots of missed shots by both teams so far.

Pock is better when he cuts and finds open spaces.
