I watched ISU play at Utah last season. They had some potential, but based on their backcourt issues I saw on person they can use the help. Good for Trey.

Love Trey and glad he gets a 5th opportunity with a high quality program which says something about our program knowing how many want our players.

It stings less knowing we're entering a new era + confusion with rules.

I'm loving our roster as is.

Not sure how many people know this, but there is still a chance he doesn't play for Utah next season. The NCAA is trying hard to overturn the injunction that was made by a Colorado judge that allowed these 5th year seniors to play next season. I believe this situation could end up similar to the injunction that allowed Bediako to return to Alabama during the middle of conference play last season, where it eventually does get overturned. Although, it is a bit different since this is during the offseason compared to the middle of the season. Who really knows given the chaos in college sports now.

Also from what I've heard, the rule for coming back is as long as the player isn't over the age of 24 and if they haven't officially signed a professional contract. Players who were in summer league don't sign a contract to do so.

It makes sense....if you're on the bubble trying to make the NBA or overseas pro teams or feel you are getting overlooked...why not take a year to play against teams in a P5 conference and show what you can do?
