Comparing the MAC to the MVC, and how the MVC has been able to rise up. It's interesting that Elgin feels one of the stronger reasons for it's rise is the in-house tv network/package. As long as it continues to improve, I would agree.

When will the UNI tv package (statewide) begin to improve? Missouri State has most of its games on their Mediacom channel in Missouri. I think Drake also has a number of games on the Medicom Connections (Channel 22) statewide. NO!That includes the 2005 Final Four in the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, which is also the site of the MVC tournament.
But BOY, I wish it were. Can you imagine what kind of money our fair and honorable league would have if 60,000 people were coming to watch the MVC Championship game? HUZZAH!

I have thought about that for some time ceaser150. It's very possible (especially in the Des Moines area where Fox has the rights to Iowa games, plus the UNI games). That's one of the reasons why I like Fox keeping this deal...however, if it were with CBS out of CR, it might also be able to partner with Fox in DM, since I think both stations are owned by the same company. I'm not 100% certain on that...but I believe that is the case.
