  • Student ticket deadline Bradley

When will they cut off the students for the Bradley game and release the 600 (we're getting better ) empty seats to the public?

When we did this for the Drake game on a very short turnaround it didn't work very well, there were some empties because the public didn't have enough time to grab them / ad didn't have enough time to market them...

Deadline should be today in my opinion.

I agree, the students have had their chance and have shown their priorities. The public has also had their chance and has came through. Lets give them as much time as possible to reward them for showing up when our students have not...

There probably is room for improvement, but I think we should also be happy that they even made the switch to this system, especially during the season.

I agree that it would be nice if the cutoff time was sooner but it's also a fine line they have to walk for selling these tickets. They want to give the students as much of a chance as they can because they pay somewhere around $100 for tickets in a fee at the beginning of each year.

I'm just hoping we get a great student showing for these last 2 games. But I'm more worried about the Evansville game. It's on a Wednesday, starts at 8 (yuck), and isn't against a top MVC team. It's senior night so our guys deserve a huge turnout!

What is the current ticket situation for the Evansville game? Close to a sellout?

Quite a few seats still available. I would expect it to sellout though.

Its going to be your last chance to see a team that should be 26-2 at that point and Senior night for the best player in UNI's History.

A late tip should not be an excuse...

A late tip with a 4 month old and 4 year old and 2 hr drive I think warrants an excuse....with that said I am trying to make it work. At least for me and my 4 yr old.

Why is the Evansville game at 8?
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

Are students able to get tickets after the deadline . . . as long as supplies last? Or do they have to buy them like the general public? I would hope that students could still come free as students, even at the last minute if it is not sold out. We shouldn't do anything to discourage them from coming. And college students, being what they are, often don't know what they are doing until it is already happening!

They can still get their free tix @ walk up if tix are available; don't have to pay...
