Good question about the flooding issue, or if it will be one.
I live in Colorado, thankfully in NW Colorado, and am a bit worried about even being able to get to this game with all the road closures they've had with these floods.
Fellow Colorado Panthers; will you still be able to make it up from Denver (or wherever you may be driving from) for the game?Comment

According to Farley's media luncheon comments, Sam Timm will have to sit out the first half against UNC. (actually can't even be on the sidelines, or in view of the field) due to the "targetting" penalty in the second half of the Drake game.Comment

The rule is, as I understand it, is if the hit is called in the second half of game game, the player is ejected for the remainder of the game in question and the first half of the next game.

I knew that, but in games without video review/instant replay (as was the case), an appeal can be filed to try and overturn the next-game suspension. UNC was closed campus today. Hopefully the forecast stays sunny and we can dry out. Weather was very nice in South Denver today!!

Lindenwood's an interesting place. They must have their own field of oil wells, cause they've been building the campus up like crazy over the last several years. Their transition to NCAA D2 from NAIA seems to be going pretty smoothly. They offer a lot more intercollegiate sports than most NCAA schools. They had been in talks to purchase the Family Arena in St Charles where the MVC WBB tournament is held, but AFAIK that fell through. FB stadium is not large but extremely nice. Ex Wisconsin and SLU coach Brad Soderberg is their MBB coach. They're Field-Turfing their baseball/softball complex. Ah, UNC....you think you have it bad in Iowa competing for attention against 2 FBS teams. UNC must do that AND a very successful pro team. Good luck.
I posted this in another thread but UNC lost to DII CSU Peublo 2 weeks ago. Although CSUP did go 11-0 and deep in the DII playoffs last year.
