Lindenwood's an interesting place. They must have their own field of oil wells, cause they've been building the campus up like crazy over the last several years. Their transition to NCAA D2 from NAIA seems to be going pretty smoothly. They offer a lot more intercollegiate sports than most NCAA schools. They had been in talks to purchase the Family Arena in St Charles where the MVC WBB tournament is held, but AFAIK that fell through. FB stadium is not large but extremely nice. Ex Wisconsin and SLU coach Brad Soderberg is their MBB coach. They're Field-Turfing their baseball/softball complex. Must be nice not to have money problems.

Lindenwood is one of the few debt-free universities in the country. My buddy actually went there on scholarship to race bicycles. Last I checked there were only 10 or 12 NCAA cycling teams in the country.

Side note, Greeley smells funny. Go Panthers!

Yep, the SLU president had an opportunity to hire the now-deceased Rick Majerus, and Soderberg was gone. The SLU AD resigned following that, but no arguing with results.

we are staying at the Holiday Inn express and I believe there is an old chicago near by (walking distance) so my buddy and I may be there for a long while.......

I fully expect us to have an extremely vanilla game plan for this game, not showing anything to McNeese, or NDSU

Hope for a balanced game, no penalties and more importantly, no injuries. This year's squad has some real talent and this is another chance to gel toward the big games on the schedule.

FYI for anyone making the trip to Greely. It is #LiveLikeAustin day. It's in honor of a boy that suffers from an ugly disease. They are selling some shirts and wristbands. It would show some class to see some panther fans wearing a wristband.



The team will have wristbands and T-Shirts available that read "#LiveLikeAustin," reminding all of us to live for the moment and to enjoy the time we have on this Earth. All proceeds from both will go towards Ervin's Foundation.
