Farley. Looks like my typing mirrored the Panthers play today. Anyways........

Gets great talent to come and play, but continues to underachieve. When will people finally start realizing Farley is a terrible gameday coach? There is a reason why his name is never brought up with D-1 openings.

Yes he's won a lot of games here, but with the recruits he gets, the results are not up to par. Which is why is he the UNI version of Ron Zook.

No. I don't "know what you mean". DI is what UNI plays in. FCS is in D1. Also, Farley is the winningest coach in UNI history.

Why do we care about a senior network analyst from Pennsylvania?

Who said that, and why is it everyone is worried about making the playoffs? If good is good enough for you, be happy for yourself and embrace those limitations. Psssssst.....RZ started his final season at Illinois 6-0 and ended it 0-6. Do you think the 2013 Panthers will be closer to that scenario, or to 10-2? The later being before the playoffs of course...........

It does not matter if Farley is the coach or not, UNI is not going to win a National Title for a long time, if ever. The fans have high expectations but always except mediocrity. Example: lets say UNI wins its proverbial annual(as if UNI gets 10 wins every year, lol) 10 win season and goes 10-2 or 10-3. But never wins a National Championship. There are fans on hear that will think all is great because in their minds "we win 10 games every year and have a great winning percentage". So go ahead and keep accepting the idea that winning 10 games is great even if UNI never wins the Natty.

National championships are probably really neat...but only one team per year earns one. So the truth is, if you're not happy with an .800 winning percentage...odds are you're never going to be happy. Ever.

The sun came up today, we have a game vs South Dakota next Saturday, I'm still a Panther fan (no matter what) and I'm looking forward to tailgating and a Panther win next week.

I got to see my daughter cheer at the top of her lungs for SIU to miss a field goal last night, and smile when they did. That's the stuff I will remember 20 years from now. I hate to lose, but the reality is that we all need to be more resilient. We ask 18-22 year old players to perform after disappointing losses...so why can't we demand that of ourselves?

Suck it up, go buy your beef and beer for next Saturday and I'll see you in the tailgating lots at noon. Go Panthers.

Also, Zook only won 9 games in a season once in his career and had a 57-65 overall record.
Farley is 112-50 with 7 conference championships in 13 seasons. 11-7 in the playoffs and has a National Coach of the year award.

You sir are not great at making comparisons.
